Dave Filoni Clarifies the Future of Ahsoka Tano

Since the ending of season two for Star Wars: Rebels, many fans have been speculating on former Jedi Ahsoka Tano's fate. The season ended with a duel between the former Master/Padawan pair of Darth Vader and Ahsoka, and she was last seen walking deeper into the Sith temple. After that, nothing is known.

There have been many fan theories on Ahsoka's fate; some believed she simply died while others think she may carry on all the way into the upcoming Star Wars movie, The Last Jedi. However, there are many who believe she transformed into a white wolf.

Series creator, Dave Filoni, has broken his silence on the debate with a tweet disclaiming this belief.

It might be my Birthday, but here is a gift, and perhaps a clarification, for you.
May the Force be with you!
- Dave
It is widely believed that season four will be the final season for the show, which leaves many questions about the fates of other characters as well, including Ezra, Kanan, and Sabine. Rogue One, however, did confirm that Hera Syndulla becomes a general in the Rebellion, and even Chopper makes an appearance. For now, Filoni has not shed some insight into the other characters' respective futures.

Star Wars: Rebels season four airs on Sept 23.

Fan Theory of Why Han Solo Had To Die!

RIP Han Solo!

What is up everyone this is Cannon Adams from the Nerds of the Force Facebook page and I just want to show you my fan theory of why Han Solo had to die. I wrote this theory moments after the release of the casting call for Episode 8 and noticed that Harrison Ford is not even on the cast! From then on I knew that Han Solo has to be dead for sure because if they don't show him in Episode 8 and then decide to show him in Episode 9, in my opinion that would not make sense and would be lame because if you don't show a iconic character in the next movie, then he is officially dead and we need to move on. So with that said below is a picture of my theory. Yes it is long like an essay, but this is what rummages in my mind almost all the time trying to piece the puzzle together before the next movie comes out and this is what I got. Hope you all enjoy my theory and if some of you do not agree with my theory, please just be respectful because no theory is a wrong theory, especially when it comes to being a fan of Star Wars. Enjoy and May The Force Be With You!

Will Ewan McGregor Return As "Obi-Wan Kenobi" In Possible Kenobi Trilogy?

By: Justin Marsh

Since the creator of Star Wars, George Lucas, Sold Lucasfilm back in 2012 to Disney and announced they were expanding the Star Wars universe beyond anything we’ve ever seen, there has been a very long ongoing line of rumors, theories, spoilers, and speculation about what we might see in the future of the Star Wars trilogy. But one that has been on fans mind for the longest time ever since we got the news Star Wars is expanding, is a possible spin off film based on Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Ewan McGregor is reportedly in talks with Disney for an unknown project, but according to Schmoes Know’s sources, the discussions are specifically about him reprising his role as the infamous Jedi Knight. Now please bear in mind that this is not in ANY ways confirmed or carved in stone as of yet by Lucasfilm or Disney...But it's fun to think about.

And now, according to this source, Disney has been courting Ewan McGregor “not to be a force ghost, but for a post-Episode III Kenobi.”  They also added that they’ve heard from multiple people that Disney wants an Obi-Wan Kenobi TRILOGY of films, outside of the Anthology series. This adds some credence to a past story found at Cinelinx who had previously reported the same rumor.

There is definitely a lot of ground that could be explored, and many stories that fall into this general time frame. Of course, deals will have to be made; stories will have to be written. A lot could go wrong before it goes right. So for now, this is speculation on the sources’part.

New TFA Trailer REVEALED!

By: David Sanchez

Earlier this morning, Star Wars fans in Japan (and worldwide) were treated to a surprise in the form of a new trailer for The Force Awakens!

J.J. Abrams has surprised us once again. In an interview with Extra late last month,  he said, "There will be commercials to come, but no more trailers."

It seems as though J.J. had more up his sleeve than we originally thought. While we think J.J. was lying about there being no more trailers, that could have been "from a certain point of view." He could have been talking about trailers for the U.S. alone, but we will never know.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens releases December 18th!

Get Your FIRST look at the Battle of Jakku!

By: David Sanchez

With just a little under two weeks before the release of Star Wars: Battlefront, we are finally getting our first look at the first piece of free DLC, The Battle of Jakku!

Looking somewhat similar to Tatooine, but with more expansive and flats deserts, Jakku looks to offer bigger debris filled maps hopefully suited to game modes like Supremacy and Walker Assault. From the trailer it looks as though there will be a great many things happening at once, and it will be hard to take my eyes off all of the gorgeous commotion!

While this is a one map free DLC, this will unfortunately (or not?) be the only free DLC for Battlefront's Season Pass which is $50. It does sound a bit steep, but the season pass includes: 4 upcoming "expansion" packs filled with new content, two-week early access, and the "shoot first" emote.

Star Wars: Battlefront is set to release on November  17! See you on the battlefront.

Canceled Darth Maul Game Revived?

Cannon Adams

"At last we will reveal ourselves to the Jedi. At last we will have revenge!"

The game that was in development back in 2010 may be RESURRECTED! Darth Maul was supposed to have his own game based saber slasher in ways similar to The Force Unleashed games up until it was canceled. The Darth Maul game was developed by Red Fly Studio and was called Battle of the Sith Lords following fan favorite Darth Maul. When Disney took over all Star Wars productions of movies and video games, Disney canceled the project when took ownership back in 2012 as well they canceled the highly anticipated game Star Wars 1313. Yea remember that game that we were all jacked up and excited for because of it being based around Boba Fett? Ill let that sink into your minds!

Moving forward! Red Fly Studios is currently on the move to push Battle of the Sith Lords game to license holder EA. EA and DICE is to release the most highly anticipated shooter Star Wars Battlefront so Red Fly Studios decided why not push it to EA?

Red Fly's Dan Borth said in an Ask Me Anything session saying:

"We are currently working on a full next gen demo of all things Maul to show to the powers that be. It's been a lot of work on our off time. We have been burning a candle for this game since it was killed in hopes we can get it turned back on again. IF that is to happen we need to approach EA with a demo that will impress them. I think we have that or are close to it. Still, it is completely not up to us."

Darth Maul got sliced in half in Star Wars The Phantom Menace and later returned to The Clone Wars animated series and then later after the show got canceled thanks to Disney, Dark Horse Comics wrote a 4 part series called Darth Maul: Son of Dathomir following the events during the clone wars after the canceled series. So what else has Darth Maul been doing since? Dan Borth says that the game takes place before The Phantom Menace to show young Darth Maul at age 9 or 11 to show what he went through to become a Sith.

Dan says:
"We felt that Maul could be a character that you cheered for because he was so ferocious. Like a wild animal. We didn't want to humanize Maul like Dexter but we wanted to explain what happened to him and you could see why he turned out the way he did."
Borth also said that sections of the game would follow Darth Krayt.

Because of Star Wars Battlefront is set to be canon to the story of Star Wars, Red Fly would re-skin the game with a new character or one closely tied to the classics or the upcoming Star Wars The Force Awakens.
"Hopefully EA will see the value in us reskinning our combat mechanic to be more in line with what they are thinking for Star Wars if they were not interested in Maul. We would need to complete our vertical slice of the game -- a fully functioning complete portion of the game or as close to it as possible and put it in front of EA, and also talk with Disney. EA has the rights to Star Wars on console and PC so it would be up to them to greenlight it. For them, they would need to be convinced we could do the game and that it fit into their new vision."
If Dan Borth with Red Fly Studios succeed in impressing EA and convincing Disney to give the green light to resurrect Battle of the Sith Lords, then there shouldn't be a problem resurrecting LucasArts Star Wars 1313. I wish Dan Borth a good luck trying to pass this game through and I believe that us fans would be more than happy to see another canon story of Darth Maul showing his youth years. Millions of fans love Darth Maul just as much as they do with Boba Fett. So I say this to both EA and Disney, resurrect both Darth Maul: Battle of the Sith Lords and Star Wars 1313 with next gen graphics just like the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront!

Exclusive: First Look At Star Wars The Force Awakens Official Poster!

By: Cannon Adams

Finally the moment we all have been waiting for. The new Star Wars The Force Awakens official poster has been revealed today!

So everything on here looks the same like we have seen before except for 3 things. 1 being Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia. We never got to really see her in an actual movie scene but an off set clip during the making trailer of practical effects video:

Now 2nd is what is that new space station look alike on the back upper right?

This looks to be if it is a new kind of Death Star! This space station looks it either has a big super laser weapon or it could be a big engine thruster of some sorts and if you notice on the far right edge of that opening it has some sort of force field protecting it. So is J.J Abrams giving us another Death Star? If so how is that original away from the older movies? Well we have less than 2 months now to see the movie so lets see what he does with this one. The 3rd is who is that alien species standing behind R2-D2? If a character lands on a poster, that character must be important. The poster itself though looks amazing. Looks like all the other posters for the past movies except with more vibrant colors for the artwork and the Star Wars logo is the same as to what we have been seeing this whole time.

So today was a good day for Star Wars fans. We get to see an amazing official poster, now to wait until tomorrow night during Monday Night Football against the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles 5:30pm Pacific Time/7:30pm Central Time to see the new and final Star Wars The Force Awakens trailer! Don't forget right after that to get yourselves online on Fandango.com to buy your advance tickets to The Force Awakens! Star Wars The Force Awakens opens December 18.

Exclusive: Star Wars Marathon Confirmed For Episode VII Release

By: Cannon Adams

It has been months of rumors mentioning that there will be a Star Wars movie marathon in theaters to the release of Star Wars The Force Awakens. The time has come that the rumors stop being rumors and come to reality. Star Wars 1-6 will be shown in theaters on the release day of episode 7. Fandango put this on their website with a Star Wars poster that says movie marathon:

So what does this mean exactly? Well I will tell you. This means everyone must go on Fandango and sign up for the Fandango Fanalert if you want to get notified once tickets go on sale. This is once in a life time, I would not miss it if I were you!

There is a run time for all 7 films which is 15.5 hours. There will be no breaks in between the films in case everyone will be asking and if you want to see The Force Awakens at 7pm December 17th and want to watch all 7 movies, you would have to start watching the films at 3am December 17th and then at 7pm shall be The Force Awakens. On this picture it says "See it in Digital 3D" so are we going to see all the movies in 3D? There is no answer to that one just yet but The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones have been converted to 3D already and there was supposed to be a showing of Revenge of the Sith in 3D at Celebration Anaheim earlier this year which I am not 100% sure if it was converted but rest assured you will see episodes 1 and 2 in 3D and of course The Force Awakens in 3D.

Do not forget Star Wars fans that the release of the official poster for The Force Awakens will release this Sunday October 18th and DO NOT FORGET to watch Monday Night Football this Monday October 19th to see the final trailer release for The Force Awakens and be on your computer to go on Fandango's Star Wars pages (Click Here for Marathon Tickets, Click Here for The Force Awakens Tickets) to purchase your advanced tickets! This year fans, Star Wars will blow all our minds. Next month we get Star Wars Battlefront on November 17th and Star Wars The Force Awakens on December 18t, how exciting is that?????

A New Star Wars Trailer is Set to Hit This Monday

By: David Sanchez

An update regarding when the next trailer is supposed to hit has just surfaced. Earlier this week, we reported the trailer would hit this Friday, according to Jeremy Conrad of Furious Fanboys, but new information has just gone out saying that the trailer will not drop on Friday, but on Monday instead. This report comes from two different sources, one being Polygon, a popular gaming news site and Making Star Wars, another Star Wars news website, both reliable and creditable sources.

The last bit of information for The Force Awakens came from an Instagram teaser on August 27th, in the form of a fifteen second teaser with a couple of new clips. One scene featured a legion of First Order troops on the Starkiller planet and the other of Finn, breathing heavily once again, holding what appeared to be Luke/Anakin's blue lightsaber.

You can rest assured that what we get in the new trailer will not disappoint!

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is set to hit theaters December 18th.

Star Wars Battlefront PC System Requirements REVEALED!

By: Cannon Adams

BEHOLD! Star Wars Battlefront PC System Requirements have finally been REVEALED!

Yesterday Tuesday October 6th, Gamespot has revealed the system requirements and this should warm people's hearts. Why is that you ask? The processor. Some of today's games requires a i5 processor as a minimum to run the game, fortunately Battlefront requires an i3 which is basically the average processor people has on their PC's today. The only big minimum and recommended requirements that might hinder some people is the RAM card. Minimum requires 8GB, Recommended requires 16GB. But luckily RAM cards are not that expensive compared to the processors.

If you need more RAM to run Battlefront, click HERE. 2 8GB Vengeance RAM for $73.99 at discount right now or $86.99 regular price for both. I would pay for RAM than to pay for a new processor which is over $300 or so.

Star Wars Battlefront BETA has already been released to limited selected players yesterday October 6th, but tomorrow October 8th, everyone can play it up until October 12. So see if you can play Battlefront if you do not meet the minimum of RAM or if you are slightly off on the graphics card, just be sure to adjust your game video and graphic settings to Low to see if your PC can handle the greatness!

Star Wars Battlefront is available on PlayStation 4, XboxOne and PC on November 17th!

Star Wars: The Force Awakens Falls Second In Most Anticipated Movie This Fall

By: Cannon Adams

I hope my eyes are not playing tricks on me here. Nope they are not so you yourself have read the title of this post correctly. A new survey showed that movie goers are more excited to see The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 movie than The Force Awakens. Each of these films have a score rating as top 3 in the history of the survey.

Variety  has the result of the survey asking movie goers which of the 2 films they are more excited for this fall.

"The consumer tracking company polled 3,000 people about upcoming fall movies and found that "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2" and "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" were the most hotly anticipated upcoming releases. In fact, both films scored some of the highest ratings Piedmont has recorded since it began polling audiences five years ago. The company rates consumer engagement on a scale of zero to 1,000, and the fourth and final "Hunger Games" had a 514 rating, beating last summer's "Avengers: Age of Ultron" and its score of 509, as the best overall number it has ever recorded.

"The "Star Wars" sequel posted a 495 rating, the third best figure since Piedmont began its surveys. It also had the best score among males that Piedmont has seen with 553. Females also are looking forward to the film, with their interest level hitting 383."

There is not much of a marketing push by Disney for The Force Awakens unlike the new Hunger Games movie where they have been pushing the marketing for ever since Mockingjay Part 1 so this comes to no shock. But we all know who is going to be the winner in the ring! At times when movie industries don't push hard for their movies to be out there and known all around means that they of course want a lot of content kept hush hush until the movie is released so that people's minds will be blown. This is what J.J Abrams and Disney plan to do until the release of The Force Awakens and only giving us small detail of the coming months since Thanksgiving of 2014. Mockingjay may win people's hearts once the final movie is launched this November, but when The Force Awakens releases, more hearts will be won!

Rumor: Hayden Christensen May Return As Anakin Skywalker In Episode VIII

By: Justin Marsh

Ever since "Star Wars Episode VIII" was announced, there have been several rumors about the movie. Latest rumor from Making Star Wars suggests that Hayden Christensen, who portrayed young Anakin Skywalker in previous "Star Wars" movies, will make an appearance in the eight episode of the sci-fi movie series.

A "fully operational" chest piece for the villain as well as his iconic helmet are apparently being developed for Rogue One. As for Christensen's potential appearance in Episode VIII, speculation ranges from an Anakin-centric flashback to a full-blown resurrection of Vader.

According to the site, "a team in the U.K. are soon heading to the U.S. to begin training Hayden Christensen for a 'Star Wars: Episode VIII' appearance of some sort." While the rumor has not been confirmed yet, people speculated that Christensen might appear as Darth Vader in a flashback scene. Otherwise, he is resurrected by Kylo Ren, who is obsessed with him.

The site also includes additional information about the first installment of "Star Wars" anthology movie "Rogue One". It is believed that Vader will also appear in the movie as "a fully operational Darth Vader chest piece along with the helmet made it to the creature shop for the next film."

If Christensen is in fact set to appear in Star Wars: Episode VIII, how do you think he'll be incorporated into the film? Be sure to sound off with your thoughts in the comments. "Star Wars Episode VIII" is directed by Rian Johnson and is produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Lawrence Kasdan and Simon Kinberg. The movie is scheduled to arrive in the U.S. on May 26, 2017. As for "Rogue One", it is directed by Gareth Edwards and will be released Stateside on December 16, 2016.

Exclusive: Gwendoline Christie Talks Star Wars: The Force Awakens

By: Cannon Adams

The time is almost here for every fan around the world to watch one of the biggest anticipated movies of all time in 3 months, Star Wars: The Force Awakens. I think what everyone is really excited for the most is new characters, characters that we have never seen nor heard about before. That is one of the best things about Star Wars in new trilogy's is new species and characters for people to know about and see how they are and such. We are all excited to see Kylo Ren, Rey, Finn, BB-8, General Hux. But the one biggest character that is also so popular right now even in a 3.75 inch or 6 inch figure, Captain Phasma.

Actress Gwendoline Christie (Game of Thrones) was recently interviewed by Variety about her role as Captain Phasma. In the show Game of Thrones, Christie plays a badass warrior named Brienne of Tarth and semi has some similarities from the Game of Thrones character to Captain Phasma. But Gwendoline Christie assures that the Captain Phasma character is a total different character than any of her previous roles. Christie tells Variety:
"It was very important to J.J. that I was there acting a part, I found it to be a really interesting acting challenge, not just because of what i felt this character was representing - and it was just what I felt, and we talked about it a little bit, but it was never like a manifesto, 'this is what it must be' - and it was exciting to me to have that weight of responsibility taken away, of having to be a certain way as a woman, to have to be mindful in a way that isn't always useful. To have that stripped away was very liberating, and it meant that as an actor I had to focus on other things. I had to focus on what my body was communicating and what exactly my voice is communicating. It becomes about the way in which you hold you hand, the way in which you walk, where your weight lies and what you want that to mean, and I wanted to give the character identity. I thought it was interesting to make something about the character identifiably female in a non-superficial way, and I hope that comes across."

Those are some big words from the actress and so far she is getting me more excited to see more of what she can bring with Captain Phasma. She also says this:
"I don't think many female actors get the opportunity to play a part where they're not having to think about the way their face looks, but I found exactly the same thing with Brienne of Tarth, and that was very liberating, it was great as an actor to work on your skills - that it isn't about holding your head so you look beautiful. It's about what you're transmitting, and to be in service of an idea greater than yourself, whether it's the character's overriding objective or, beyond that, hopefully something more sociopolitical. We have seen an image of [Phasma] and again, it's an unconventional kind of woman exhibiting a kind of strength, but in a very different way to my other two characters."
So fans, what do you all think? I think Gwendoline Christie is such an inspiring actress to many people out there including the future women who want to become an actress. She is fit to be in Star Wars, I welcome her into Star Wars, I was lucky to buy the 6 inch Black Series figure of Captain Phasma the other day, I cannot wait for The Force Awakens to see her in action. She is going to be like Boba Fett, popular for so many years and one of the most favorable characters in this new trilogy. Let's just hope that we still get to see Boba Fett again soon (Crossing Fingers). Star Wars premiers December 18th, 2015 and don't forget to mark your calendars for October 19th to go to your select theaters to purchase you advanced tickets to The Force Awakens.
