Star Wars Rebels Droids in Distress

Star Wars Rebels
Droids in Distress

Spark of the Rebellion had tons of new stuff and a big plot set up to introduce all these amazing new characters. We met Ezra Bridger, Kanan Jarrus, Hera Syndulla, Sabine Wren, Zeb Orrelios, Inquisitor, and Agent Kallus. We saw other characters of course but the main ones that I just named are the big ones to look out for. So let's move on to the first episode of Star Wars Rebels Droids in Distress.

The Ghost crew is in need of food and fuel to continue to do what they do best. In order to get those main items, they decide to get the money from our new weapons dealer, Vizago. The Ghost crew goes to the spaceport on Lothal, and enters a transport ship to go to another planetary system called Garel. There are Imperial shipments of weapons there so the Ghost team is going there to steal it. The internet buzzed with the excitement of a droid now canon to the Star Wars Universe, the droid pilot of that transport.

Showing this pilot droid, the internet and Facebook buzzed with excitement because everyone knows about the ride Star Tours at Disneyland that this droid became canon to Star Wars. I think that was a awesome gesture from Dave Filoni of tipping his famous cowboy hat off to us fans of Star Wars and Star Tours. During the transport flight we see the famous R2-D2 and C3PO on an undercover mission for Bail Organa that we see at the end of this episode. The 2 droids were with an Imperial minister named Tua as a translator for her because she was with Amda Wabo that was taking her to these weapons for the Empire. Sabine helped translate for the minister while the droids were sent to the back of the shuttle, and pretended to translate properly for the minister and tell her that the weapons were in bay 17 when the weapons were really in bay 7.

The transport makes its destination to the planet Garel and makes their way to Bay 7 where the weapons are held. This is where we find out what kind of weapons they were stealing. Zeb saw them and was shocked and disturbed to the kind they found. They found T-7 Ion disruptor weapons that can pretty much end a civilization when used. Zeb's kind were basically all killed from those weapons. Minister Tua and Amda Wabo went to bay 17 finding no weapons. This is where she figures out the weapons are in bay 7 so our Ghost team was going to have trouble really fast. The Empire catches them and they enter a fight. The Ghost team got the weapons on the Ghost ship, R2-D2 and C3PO tags along with the team and they leave Garel to go to Vizago on Lothal.

On Lothal, C3PO makes an emergency call to anyone for help to be rescued and ended up talking to Agent Kallus. Kallus traced the transmission back on Lothal and met up with the Ghost team alarming Vizago so he only took half the shipment without paying for the shipment of the weapons. Later during another fight, Zeb fights with Agent Kallus because Kallus was one of the ones who helped kill off Zeb's species with the weapons in the past. Zeb was almost at defeat and Kallus was about to kill him until Ezra somehow conjures the force and pushes Kallus into a rock. They got Zeb on the Ghost and fled to space and took the droids back to Bail Organa. No one of the Ghost crew knew he was Senator Bail Organa because R2 and 3PO never told them. At the end, apparently R2 had information on these other people called Rebels.

Next is the episode of Star Wars Rebels: Fighter Flight. Be sure to look for the post about the next episode on our Facebook page Nerds of the Force at https://www.facebook.com/NerdsoftheForce.
