Leaked Star Wars: The Last Jedi Images Reveal a New Stromtrooper

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is set to be premiered in December, and try as hard as Disney and Lucasfilm can, leaks will occur. The most recent leak came from Facebook page Jedi Templo Aztlan, and was confirmed June 8 by Star Wars News Net.

The series of photos gives fans their first chance to see a new side of the First Order in the form of a stormtrooper with a red pauldron. Also shown was Supreme Leader Snoke's Praetorian Guards and the upgraded walkers known as  "Gorilla Walkers." Take a look at the photos below.

This new version of the Walker appears to be more powerful than the original Imperial Walker. With a central cannon above the cockpit and the front legs similar to a gorilla, the Alliance will have a more difficult time toppling these monsters than the rebels did in the original trilogy.

The new stormtrooper with the red pauldron will also present a new challenge for the Alliance. Carrying an axe-like weapon, perhaps these stormtroopers will be able to take on our heroes with lightsabers like we saw in The Force Awakens with Finn. It is currently unknown if this stormtrooper is an officer or how highly ranked they are within the First Order.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi premieres in the U.S. December 15, feautring Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamil, Daisy Ridley, and John Boyega.
