Exclusive: First Look At Star Wars The Force Awakens Official Poster!

By: Cannon Adams

Finally the moment we all have been waiting for. The new Star Wars The Force Awakens official poster has been revealed today!

So everything on here looks the same like we have seen before except for 3 things. 1 being Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia. We never got to really see her in an actual movie scene but an off set clip during the making trailer of practical effects video:

Now 2nd is what is that new space station look alike on the back upper right?

This looks to be if it is a new kind of Death Star! This space station looks it either has a big super laser weapon or it could be a big engine thruster of some sorts and if you notice on the far right edge of that opening it has some sort of force field protecting it. So is J.J Abrams giving us another Death Star? If so how is that original away from the older movies? Well we have less than 2 months now to see the movie so lets see what he does with this one. The 3rd is who is that alien species standing behind R2-D2? If a character lands on a poster, that character must be important. The poster itself though looks amazing. Looks like all the other posters for the past movies except with more vibrant colors for the artwork and the Star Wars logo is the same as to what we have been seeing this whole time.

So today was a good day for Star Wars fans. We get to see an amazing official poster, now to wait until tomorrow night during Monday Night Football against the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles 5:30pm Pacific Time/7:30pm Central Time to see the new and final Star Wars The Force Awakens trailer! Don't forget right after that to get yourselves online on Fandango.com to buy your advance tickets to The Force Awakens! Star Wars The Force Awakens opens December 18.
